Kahootz: 8/5/12 Peabody Essex Museum Wedding
New Yorker’s Lemire and Joshua had some very specific ideas as to what they wanted for their perfect reception. They wanted a ton of dancing from the start and they wanted the music to be modern, fun and high energy – just like them. Both the bride and groom lead very busy professional careers but like to spend down time with friends in some of the hippest Brooklyn dance clubs in their off time. They we clear they did not want an “elevator music” style wedding. At the same time Lemire had family members joining them from Israel and wanted there to be music well suited for them as well. We were thrilled to get to play so much contemporary material and see everyone have such a great time at the Peabody Essex Museum.
